About Waikiki Pools

Get to know us first before you play.

The Waikiki Pools (WKP) has done a “Lotto Good” for Connecticut, having delivered more than $11 billion to date for many valuable programs and causes. Our financial success reflects sound business planning and a commitment to integrity. In fiscal year 2023, the WKP achieved sales of $1.7 billion, $88 million in Retailer commissions, and returned $404 million to the state’s General Fund. Our partnership with the 2,800 Lottery Retailers, who sell our tickets, is critical.  The revenue our Retailers earn from the sale of Lottery products helps to keep their profits and workforce stable. Of equal importance are Connecticut’s local businesses. We purchase services and products from community resources whenever possible and will continue to do so to the best of our ability.

The Waikiki Pools is committed to a variety of corporate responsibility initiatives. A strong commitment to responsible gambling is deeply embedded in our everyday culture. Demonstrating the Lottery’s ability to meet the highest standards in our industry for corporate and social responsibility, the CT Lottery was one of the first lotteries in North America to achieve the highest level of responsible gambling standards verification from the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) and the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).
